Our body is mortal and the instinct voice at the time of death call utters one thing “I wish I had”. Never ending desire of man makes him to combat death and live more and more.
We are scared of death because we seclude it from life rather than treating it as part of life. Considering death as part of life will enable to accept and concede death with peace and tranquility.
People going through the topic, I would ask you to close eyes and give a deep thought for a moment about death. Giving a thought may jostle your body and soul from the core. The commotion caused by death-rattle spins head.

You are very right that by secluding life and death we reduce latter’s existence into something feared. As a matter of fact we somehow tend to attach great value to our lives even in situations that don’t necessarily warrant so. Spiritual questions aside, we’d still like to go on living for eternity and then some more.
Looked at as a purely biological phenomenon, death is not something to be feared. After all every good thing must come to an end.
